Food and Beverage – “We couldn’t understand why our 700 dinner/hour Frozen Food Line was only delivering 560 dinners per hour. We were astonished to find that, for various reasons, there were in excess of 100 line stoppages in a single 24 hour period. G D Control’s ESP program identified this for us, and virtually paid for itself overnight.”
Automotive – “Our Automotive Components line was launched at a 6 second cycle time. Three years later we found the Operators running it at 6.5 to 7.2 seconds, citing various reasons for the decreased efficiency, and making it the lowest capacity Line in our plant. GDC monitored our Line with their ESP program and identified the areas that needed improvement. The result was a 5.5 cycle time and the second best producing line in the plant. Next year we are targeting 5.2 seconds.”
